Overview

Wello Markup is a local Markdown and HTML preview app. The app is designed to work without an account, without advertising, and without analytics tracking.

Data Collection

Wello Markup does not collect personal data. It does not collect imported document contents, usage analytics, device identifiers, location data, contact information, purchase information, or browsing history.

Imported Documents

When you import Markdown or HTML files, Wello Markup copies those files into the app's local storage on your device so they can be reopened later. These files stay on your device and are not uploaded to a developer server.

You can delete imported documents from inside the app at any time.

Tracking and Advertising

Wello Markup does not track users across apps or websites. Wello Markup does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.

HTML Preview

HTML files are rendered locally using system WebKit. JavaScript is disabled by default in the preview. If you tap an HTTP or HTTPS link inside a preview, the link opens outside Wello Markup through the system browser.

Support Emails

If you contact support by email, the information you choose to include in that email will be used only to respond to your request. Do not send confidential document contents unless they are necessary for support.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when Wello Markup changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
